A bit (a lot) about me.
I help values driven business women entrepreneurs like you go from people pleasing to powerful AF! It's my honour to support my clients to go from self-doubt to self-trust by learning how to be a partner to themselves.
I was a children and families social worker for over fifteen years, I was freelance for two of those. I became a social worker because I wanted to help families make positive changes that would enable them to stay together and thrive. I also wanted to be a powerful advocate for children in care.
My role was to provide support and guidance to people who are facing challenges in their lives, such as poverty, abuse, neglect, mental illness, and addiction. My career was all consuming and it ravaged me. Not knowing about healthy boundaries didn't help matters either!
I knew there was more to life. I wanted to experience more joy, have more freedom and more energy for my daughter and life in general. I've wanted to have my own business since I was about five years old. As I looked at the women around me, I could see that I wasn't alone in feeling like my life was being ravaged by my work.
I decided to give myself the chance to thrive by creating work that supports me. I was unwilling to continue the pattern of living to work, I wanted work to support me living well. I decided to transfer my social work skills to coaching and did some further study so I could become a coach supporting women to make powerful changes.
Now I am able to spend quality time with my daughter and role model work being part of self care. My work day works with me rather than against, and I am able to do things such as keynote speaking, workshops for corporates, writing for a magazine and hosting joy 'raves' for the fun of it.
And this contributes to a life that feels satisfying.
From the end of 2020 to the end of 2021 I created six-figures revenue and didn't realise because I was scrappy and chaotic, I was in a constant state of fight or flight. At the end of 2021 I realised I needed to regulate my business with a creative strategy and systems that brought out the best in me whilst supporting my mission of being a well rested woman.
I now work less, live more and earn more.
WHAT I DO:
I help over-functioning, overworking, over-achieving entrepreneurs learn how to understand their nervous system and cultivate enough emotional safety to trust that they are inherently worthy. You are inherently worthy.
I'm obsessed with our nervous systems especially the autonomic nervous system. Understanding your autonomic nervous system is the key to thriving.
I want women like you to fall in love with yourself so you can make powerful choices about how you live, love and work.
WHO AM I:
I am the purveyor of joy and I want to help you begin to enjoy who you are from the inside out. I love life, I believe its a real gift especially when I consider the odds of each of us being born were 400 trillion in 1! Those odds are impossible and this tells me that I'm a miracle hand selected by the divine to be here in this time and space *goosebumps*.
I'm a daughter of West African immigrants and grew up in a multi-faith household, with a Muslim father and Christian mother. This background means that I value difference, nuance and equity - it is my normal. My upbringing was a living breathing example of difference being healthy and complimentary. Consequently, I believe that some things are black or white but most things are shades of grey.
I saw my mother work really hard to go from working class to middle and overcome barriers due to her race, gender and being born in a different country. She taught me that although barriers are not determining factors, we need to do what we can to remove them for ourselves and others. I also have first hand experience of the complexity of going from surviving to thriving and how hard it can be to let go of survival behaviour.
I laugh at my own jokes and have an 80's, 90's and 00's musical reference for every situation. I frustrate my daughter because everything becomes a teachable moment (she will thank me when she's in her 20's knowing her worth and trusting her power!).

My top three values and character strengths are leadership, wisdom and transcendence.
In my life and work this looks like leadership rooted in social justice. I enjoy sharing wisdom that has the potential to change the world for the better whether that's working 1:2:1, in groups, corporates, writing or speaking on stages. I have a deep belief in a loving power that transcends the human mind but is understood by our hearts that is constantly supporting the miracle of life. I believe we experience this loving power when we express gratitude, experience joy and also in times of grief and rage.
I want to help you liberate yourself from the tyranny of over-working and under-earning by tending to your needs and creating healthy boundaries. The way we work ravages our life force energy leaving us depleted and unsatisfied, I want to be part of changing that for the better #joyfulactivism.

PAYMENT PLANS
Payment plans are based on mutual trust and your commitment to the duration of the mastermind. When you say yes, you are saying yes to the entirety of the programme, it is not pay as you go. If you choose a payment plan you agree to pay it fully as agreed (regardless of how you utilise the offer).

My commitment to social justice and equity means that I do not charge interest for payment plans. Social justice and equity goes both ways so a payment plan means you agree to commit to staying the course and honouring our payment agreement.
